Hey Legal Social – start 2022 right.
We are looking to start the year off on a positive footing with a blend of legal community chat, insight and practical tips. There is no need for you to pre-register for this event and you can simply join us on the Hey Legal YouTube channel when we go live.
If you subscribe to our Channel you can receive a notification of us going live and other video releases by us. We will commence at 7pm with an introduction by Edith who will be joined initially by Dean of Faculty Roddy Dunlop QC and Iain Smith to discuss the importance of staying connected with each other during challenging times in the profession and beyond, with insight as to what they do to stay positive and productive.
We will then be joined by Aamer Anwar to discuss all things “Murder Island”, the recent hit Channel 4 show written by Ian Rankin where Aamer featured alongside Claire Mitchell QC and Bobby Reid , Partner of McGovern Reid Court Lawyers as lawyers in the series. Find out what it was like to take part in such a production, how the lawyers got involved and more. You can ask questions via live chat too.
Next up will be Fitness and Nutrition for busy lawyers. We will be joined by Mandy Gordon of Cycle Box (who Edith regularly trains with) to discuss fitness regimes that fit with busy professional lifestyles. We hope all of this sounds good to you!
