The Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA) heard yesterday from Danny Friedman QC on behalf of Lord Janner’s children, Rabbi Laura Janner-Klausner and Marion Janner OBE.
Rosenberg writes –
Friedman read out a personal statement in which Janner’s daughters — and their brother Daniel Janner QC — said they believed in their father’s innocence, as they had always done. This was reported in the press.
Understandably, there was less coverage for what Friedman went on to say. He was working under a number of legal constraints
