In the latest Hey Legal Insights video we are delighted to be in conversation with Nadine Montgomery Allam. Nadine discusses her own personal story of taking legal action after her son was born with cerebral palsy following a traumatic birth. The legal action resulted in the landmark Supreme Court ruling on informed medical consent, Montgomery v South Lanarkshire Council.
Nadine tells us about her 15 year fight for justice and of her path into studying law at Strathclyde University, to then joining specialist medical negligence claims law firm, L & M MediLaw as a trainee. We hear of Nadine`s thoughts on being a client involved in a claim and the court process; the importance of a choosing the correct legal team and her plan for the legal career she is now embarking upon.
